Christina Polychronakis – Solicitors for the Elderly
We are pleased to announce that Solicitor Christina Polychronakis has recently passed her Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) exam, qualifying her as an Associate Member.
Christina was thrilled to have passed with a rate of 76%.
Christina is a member of our Wills, Trusts & Probate Team and the majority of her clients are elderly. She commonly deals with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates and Trust administration.
Christina, who has also recently become a Dementia Friend, added "I am delighted by this news. I really enjoy dealing with elderly and vulnerable clients and I am proud to have achieved this qualification making me an Associate Member of SFE."
SFE is an independent, national organisation of lawyers, who provide specialist legal advice specifically for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. Their aim is to improve the knowledge and service provided on legal issues including, Tax Planning, Wills, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Long-Term Social and Health Care and other retirement issues.
Christina joins department head Michelle Gavin who is already a fully accredited member and colleague Keri Wood who's an Associate Member. Michelle is also a member of the SFE Birmingham Committee.
