Why did you choose the law?
I was introduced to the subject when I first studied Law at A-Level in 2010. I then decided to continue my studies at University. A career in the legal profession is always evolving and the idea of working in an ever-changing and continuously challenging environment attracted me to the field.
Tell us a bit about how you got here…
After completing my LLB Law Degree at Coventry University in 2013, I began studying both Residential Conveyancing and Wills and Probate with CILEx Law School and started training to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive, recently qualifying as a Fellow.
I started my legal career in Coventry after finishing University and joined the firm in 2016.
What does your day job look like?
Working in residential conveyancing, the majority of my day involves talking to my clients and advising them throughout their transactions, whether this is over the phone, by email or in person in the office. I thoroughly enjoy the client contact aspect of my role and appreciate that moving home can be a stressful time. I therefore aim to alleviate any stress or concerns clients might have and ensure that being honest and transparent throughout the transaction will provide the best service to my clients.
What do you like to do outside of work?
If I’m not spending time with friends and family or pottering around the garden with my house rabbit, then I enjoy going to the gym, reading and planning my next adventure.
