Daniel Blood
Why Did You Choose The Law?
It was something that appealed to me when I studied so I decided to focus on it and haven’t looked back since!
Tell Us a Bit About How You Got Here…
After completing my academic studies locally I decided to stay in the Midlands and I worked for a large regional firm in the Birmingham area, and then a well-known firm in Warwickshire prior to joining Band Hatton Button.
I was made a Board member at the firm in April 2019.
What Does Your Day Job Look Like?
I deal with all areas of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, site assembly and development site sales and act for several large regional and national retailers.
I also represent local charities and am appointed as the Clerk for a well known charity in Bedworth, Warwickshire.
Days are generally spent dealing with matters such as those listed above as well as lots of client interaction and meetings.
I am proud of my large client following, I think this is mainly due to my approachable, pragmatic and friendly manner. I also do my best to explain tricky issues in clear and easy to understand terms.
I was named Lawyer of the Year at the Warwickshire Law Society Awards in November 2018.
What Do You Like to do Outside of Work?
I am a Scout Leader in Solihull and undertake a variety of outdoor activities including running, half marathons and winter camping! I also enjoy both watching and playing football.
