How we helped

The client instructed a Managing Agent to manage the properties. Issues have been reported numerous times but the Managing Agents have ignored correspondence, and failed to advise the freeholder of the issues. The owner of one of the flats has instructed solicitors and sent a letter before action to the clients. Negotiations are taking place in respect of getting works undertaken at the property, but the Managing Agents are still being unresponsive. If proceedings are issued, the clients will bring the Managing Agent into the proceedings.

Value

No direct value to client, although the client could face a claim against her for loss of rental income since March 2018.
