Our client faced residential possession proceedings. A Possession Order was obtained but was successfully set aside. A counterclaim was filed asserting legal ownership and/or an equitable interest of/in the property. The Claimants then failed to adhere to court directions leading to them being debarred from defending the claim. The client obtained an order transferring the property into her sole name. A relief from sanctions application was filed by the Claimants but was dismissed at Coventry County Court.

The matter is important to the client as she faces being made homeless if she loses the case.
